Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Wednesday, June 5th, the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Praha. The unit had received complaints in reference to narcotics trafficking from this particular residence. The unit carried out an extensive investigation and found probable cause to believe methamphetamine was being dealt from the location. As a result of the search warrant. The Narcotics Unit found Jason Hartmann, 42 years of age of Flatonia to be in possession of Methamphetamine. Hartmann was placed into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance. The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Flatonia Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
